- Kentucky's Adjutant General Tonini receives second star
Friday, January 18, 2008 FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Governor Steve Beshear pinned Adjutant General Edward W. Tonini with his second star, signifying his promotion to the rank of major general, today, Jan. 17, 2008.
Tonini, a Louisville resident, was appointed last month by Beshear to serve as the 52nd Adjutant General of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
